De Ferranti 2008

Neisha met Alvaro de Ferranti whilst sourcing tiles for her new kitchen in 2008. A book on Navajo decoration lying on his desk sparked a conversation about the power of simple patterns, which in turn led to a collaboration that continues today. The tiles are handmade in Italy - the pattern is applied with a combination of screen print and hand painting. Each tile is slightly different due to the handmade aspect, and they have a beautiful non-uniform patina.
