LONDON ORIGINAL PRINT FAIR

A collection of 8 giclée inkjet prints of gouache paintings done by Neisha in 2020, inspired by the structures of some of her patterns, are now available through Long & Ryle Gallery at the 40th edition of the London Original Print Fair, Somerset House, London 20th – 23rd March. ‘Deconstructing patterns and taking them back to the bare minimum can reveal interesting shapes. When working on repeat patterns for wallpapers and fabrics, I work out a rough structure for the repeat, before adding the flowers and leaves – it acts as a sort of scaffolding if you like, and I often find that this structure can in itself be interesting.’ Four striking artworks – African Twist, Agave, Java and Spade Patch – are each available in two unusual and sophisticated colours, and printed on archival Hahnemühle papers.
